At Boulder NeuroWellness, Barbara Horwitch provides scientifically supported, gentle, therapeutic neuromovement lessons for infants, children, adolescents, and adults. Organic, often remarkable outcomes are achieved by focusing, through movement, on the brain’s ability to change, learn, and grow. The foundation of Barbara’s work is the Anat Baniel Method (ABM). The Method has a 30 year history of excellent outcomes for both children and adults.
The Anat Baniel Method℠
The Anat Baniel Method (ABM) is a science-based method of therapeutic neuromovement® that uses the capacity of the human brain to form new connections at any age to create the potential for change. The Method is holistic; it includes not only the movement in space of the skeleton and muscles, but also the movement of thinking, emotions, and feelings. Because the focus is on upgrading the functioning of the brain rather than on specific muscles or specific actions, a wide range of outcomes becomes possible. Improvement in motor skills, language, behavior, social engagement, and cognition are typical results of using ABM. More information and resources about this method can be found here.
