After a serious accident left her in constant pain and limitation, Barbara found her path to healing in the Anat Baniel Method some 6 years ago. Her goal then was to regain range of motion and to be free of pain. In the process of self-healing, Barbara was inspired to deepen her involvement in ABM and become a practitioner. She has certifications in all levels of the Anat Baniel Method: ABM, ABM for Children, ABM for Vitality and Anti Aging, and ABM for High Performers. She continues her studies as support staff at Anat’s current basic practitioner training. Barbara is also the on site organizer for one of Anat’s newest programs, the Parent Child Workshop, which was introduced in June, 2015 with great success.
Barbara brings a varied wealth of experience to her practice. As a mother of two children, now in college, she has investigated and studied a wide range of therapies in the areas of holistic health & wellness and learning disabilities. Prior to that, Barbara was a successful marketing executive and business consultant, organizing and managing large projects worldwide. She holds a BA from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. She is a former national competitive swimmer and an enthusiastic, though lapsed, musician.
