After a serious accident left her in pain and limitation, Barbara found healing with the Anat Baniel Method of NeuroMovement and was inspired to become a practitioner. She is deeply engaged in ABM NeuroMovement. Barbara has completed all the certifications (Basic, Children’s Mastery, Vitality and Anti-Aging, and High Performers) and she is now a member of the teaching staff in the Anat Baniel Method/NeuroMovement training programs, held in Henderson, NV and San Rafael, CA. Barbara has organized three introductory workshops for Anat Baniel in Colorado (2013, 2015, 2017) as well as three Parent Child Workshops (2015, 2016, at the Anat Baniel Center in San Rafael CA, and 2018 in Boulder, CO).
Barbara also organizes Colorado based workshops for children with special needs with Sylvia Shordike, a California based senior ABM NeuroMovement practitioner.
Barbara brings a wealth of experience to her practice. As a mother of two, both now in college, she has investigated and studied a wide range of therapies encompassing child development, developmental delays, learning disabilities, and holistic healing. She holds a BA from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Chicago. A former national competitive swimmer, Barbara enjoys hiking, biking, cooking, music and kids of all ages.
